Growing Voices, Advancing Children's Rights
Yayasan Tuwuh Svara Insani (YATSvI) was established in 2025, and was legalized in 2026. YATSvI’s primary vision is that ‘all Indonesian children and young people can enjoy their rights without discrimination.’ By promoting informed policies, enhancing public education, and empowering the youth ecosystem, YATSvI aims to create a long-term positive impact for future generations through a scientific, participatory, and creative approach.

Improving Knowledge of Tangerang City Child Forum
30 January 2026 – DP3AP2KB held capacity-building sessions for FAKT (Tangerang City Child Forum) members, inviting adult allies from diverse backgrounds to share information about city services for children and to enhance knowledge of the Child Forum’s role in promoting child rights, creating a protective environment, and advocating for change. The latter was led by our own, Dr. Harla Octarra.

Strengthening the Programs of Tangerang City Child Forum
10 April 2026 – During a 2-hour mini-workshop for FAKT members, Dr. Harla Octarra was invited by DP3AP2KB to engage FAKT members in refining their work plans, critically assessing the feasibility of their ideas, and ensuring that each program is planned for collaborative implementation with local government agencies, schools, and other stakeholders.
Standardizing Child-Friendly Services in Tangerang City
Speaking engagements
5 March 2026 – DP3AP2KB invited librarians and information centers to a half-day session that included an official from the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, who presented the regulations and steps to become a child-friendly service. Our Dr. Harla Octarra encouraged attendees to consider the benefits of making their child services more inviting and accessible for children, as well as providing practical how-tos.

Standardizing Child-Friendly House of Worship
23 April 2026 – At Pura Agung Kertajaya in Tangerang City, Dr. Harla Octarra, with DP3AP2KB and a provincial representative, encouraged houses of worship to adopt child-friendly policies, practices, and infrastructure, collaborate with local governments, media and business sector, and to change congregation views on children’s agency. Attendees included representatives from other religions.
