Strengthening the Support of Child-Friendly Business Association

    SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

26 May 2026 – DP3AP2KB initiated regular coordination meetings with businesses ranging from small to large in Tangerang City. In this year’s first meeting, Dr Harla Octarra had the opportunity to introduce child rights principles in business. “Can a child work?” started the conversation about child rights, highlighting the difference between child worker (pekerja anak) and working children (anak yang bekerja) as outlined in Law number 13 of 2003 on Manpower. The talk encouraged the business representatives to think about ways in which their services, products, policies, and practices can help fulfill children’s rights.
